Old Main Road

Coming along Old main road from St Leonards road in the 50's was the following Marshaling yards with trucks parked, opposite the school was a jitty with iron rails leading to the loco dept via an iron footbridge. Then was the old school house. Then crown foundry, Northampton Farmers then a row of 4 old cottages. then airflow streamlines. Railway bank. On the other side school, WMC, rose and crown with Dick Ford
