Note 1. My Dad Tom Collings known as Taff, was a Police Officer from 1924 until 1951. During the early years he and others had to double up as Firemen in their off duty periods. I'm not sure if he is the one first from the right, back row, in the photo. He lived in Towcester Rd, Delapre Crescent Road and finally, St. Leonards Road. He did most of his Police duty in Far Cotton, working mainly from the Police Box at the bottom of St. Leonards Rd.
