The group meets every Tuesday in Term Time at the new time of between 1:30pm and 3:30pm in the community centre on Far Cotton Rec.
There is a subscription of £2 per week payable on the day but you get a cup of Coffee, a biscuit, and warm welcome. Each week we try and arrange a speaker that will talk about aspects in some way relating to Far Cotton. A speaker list will appear at the bottom of this page soon. We also set up study groups to research various aspects of Far Cottons past and have produced a book and DVD. We intend to complete other projects like this in the future. We regularly have a group of upto 50 people attend so come along and contribute. Newly found pictures, documents or recordings are shared with group members. Old memories are stirred and new avenues of study are opened.
So come along and join us and find out more about threading history through Far Cotton.
